Peter established his expertise in strategy and general management during his two years exposure as a Strategy Consultant for McKinsey & Company's New York Office since 2001. The projects he handled include developing product strategy for a financial institution, financial modeling and ROI calculations of different scenarios for a large scale equipment upgrade for another financial institution, and identification of potential investment targets in a subsegment of the financial industry for a private equity firm. He had an earlier entrepreneurial experience as Chairman of a Cable Television Company in Budapest, Hungary from 1992 to 1996, which was the first broadband Internet provider in Hungary which was established in 1995.
Peter received his Master's from the Kennedy School at Harvard University. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the Budapest Media Institute, with major in Mass Communication. In 1990 – 1998, he served in various elected positions in the Budapest City Council. He also volunteered as Press Secretary for a Budapest Party President. He currently sits on the Board of the Manhattan Hungarian Network, a social organization for Hungarians. He is fond of flying and is a certified Private Pilot.
