Laszlo founded ActiveMedia in 1996 and established relationships with leading interactive and consumer brands. Before founding ActiveMedia, he worked with America Online in 1995 as a Strategic Consultant. Laszlo placed the first online advertising programs at AOL’s largest content site. His clients included the Greenhouse of AOL Studios, the AOL Finance Channel as well as some interactive brands like Motley Fool, iVillage and NetNoir. He previously established an advertising agency and TV-Production house in Central Europe. Ford Motor Company, Kellog's, United Distillers, Philip Morris, Fiat and the Leo Burnett advertising agency were some of his clients.
Laszlo received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1995. He graduated from the Film Academy of Budapest in 1989, as a film and television director, including a study period at the BBC in London. Laszlo received his Bachelor of Arts degree in languages and literature from the ELTE University of Budapest, Hungary. Laszlo serves on the board of directors of Leros Corporation and on the board of advisors of mybizhompage.com and Carnation, a leading Central European digital advertising agency. He is a member of the Harvard Club of New York and Washington DC. Laszlo is a sought after speaker at US and International conferences on online marketing, advertising, branding and Internet strategy.
